Is it asking for your xbox password, or your router password? Additionally I would recommend rebooting your xbox as well as modem/router.

Now, is the console asking for the Wi-Fi password or the Microsoft account password? If it is asking for the Wi-Fi password, then that would have to be changed online. You would need to sign into the router page on a web browser and change the password there
if you have not done that yet.

If it is asking for the
Microsoft Account password, then you need to enter the email into the console sign-in area and put forgot password.
