I can here myself talking

I recently just bought a new wireless mic for my xbox and I can hear myself talk. Before i could just go to the slides in settings and turn down the mic monitoring but now I cant. I searched my whole xbox amd nothing has worked. Can anybody please tell
me how to fix this? Thank You!

I believe it might be third party issue and not xbox itself making you hear yourself, check the headset your using to see if you have any volume adjusters and try lowering them and then see if you can still hear yourself.

It usually happens to me when playing with friends and they are either close to their Tv or their sound is loud enough for their mic to pick up my own voice through the speakers.

Try turning the volume on your microphone down. That sometimes fixes that problem. The xbox microphones will sometimes pick up feedback though

Hi!

I had that same problem until i changed my mic and headset.

before changing them i used the ones i used for my cellphone and had a lot of eco, so i change all the sounds and configurations and work, other things that may be causing this problems is that if youre to close to you TV and the sound is too loud, it can
cause eco, if nothing works, in my case i bought another headset and it worked.

its not the xbox its the mic if u talk so close to the mic u can hear your self in it it does it sometimes when u scream its called mic feedback almost every headset has it. sadly I think u can't fix it i believe cause its in the headset stock. And what
headset do you have?
