I can hear people in a party chat, but I cannot talk.

I can hear

Ive tried everything. The conclusion I have come to is that it has something to do with my internet.

Things I have made sure of: My mic works fine on my computer and other devices, I have done a power cycle reset, a factory reset, used all 3 of my controllers, and I made sure I wasn't muted. I use a turtle beach adapter which I first thought was the problem but I bought another one and the issue persisted.

This issue occurred sometime near where I changed my internet service provider (**** you centurylink). This is what makes me think it is a network problem. My new internet doesn't cut out on me for days at a time like my old one and is better in every way except to where I cant talk in party chats. Any ideas? Ive been using my phone but it is a pain in the **** and I want to fix it as soon as possible.

That is not the issue. He is on xbox and can talk normally until I join the party from my pc, at that point he can no longer hear people and people cannot hear him. I however can hear people and they can hear me. It is just one person that cannot use party
chat if i join on my pc.

I have one but i cannot hear the other people in the chat or party. They can hear me though...

My headset only works in party chat. When I'm playing other games I can see that people are talking but I can't hear them and they can't hear me. It only works in party chat.

Bummer you're not able to hear people in party chat! Let's see what's going on. First, are you using a headset or are you chatting with a Kinect sensor? If you're using a headset, what happens if you unplug it while in party chat? Are you able to hear people
through your TV?

Be sure that your NAT type is also showing as open under your network settings. Check out
