I can hear everything but my microphone isn't working. Is there a way to fixing this?

Yes, it might be the controller phone jack.

Do you have another controller you can test it?

If it's a physical hardware issue, and your controller is still under warranty, please, submit a repair request.

Hi there I tried your steps and neither of the options you gave me had worked. Is there any other solutions? Also yes it works on other devices so I'm guessing it's the controller

Have you checked if the Microphone is not muted by a button on the headset?

Does the microphone work on another device? Have you tested it?

Please, run the audio setup tool.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Volume & audio output.

Select the Audio setup option under Advanced.

Highlight the audio setup option you wish to use and then press the A button to begin the audio test.

In case it still does not work, reset your console.

Before you continue, make sure you've got the account sign-in information. You'll need it to log back into your console after the reset.

You can follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Select Reset and keep my games & apps.

So, before I continue, bare in mind that the Series 2 is fairly new and if this is a manufacture issue with the controller itself, they may push an update to fix this issue in the near near future. With that being said, assuming your connection is perfect
and you're in a party and you can hear everything but your microphone itself isn't working, a fix could be to unplug and replug in your microphone from the headset (if that is possible) and then make sure ALL plugs are pushed all the way in, as having it a
LITTLE loose can have this exact issue.
