I can hear but I can’t talk

I recently bought a new headset and I’ve frustrated while trying to figure out the problem I can hear my friends but every time I talk they can’t hear me I’ve done everything that YouTube TikTok and google has told me I’m starting to think that I won’t be able to fix it

Hello, what model and brand you bought from headset and are using, it is wired or wireless?

If wired, there are two pinout patterns on the market, CTIA and OMTP.

"Not all 3.5 mm audio inputs are produced in the same pattern. There are two patterns of audio inputs:

Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) e

Open Mobile Terminal Platform (OMTP)

If you use an OMTP headset, you'll probably have problems with audio or chat. However, if your headset or headphones use the OMTP standard, you can purchase an adapter to convert it to CTIA. These adapters are available in many e-retail stores.

The following images show the differences between the CTIA and OMTP patterns. The CTIA standard displays the microphone section of the connector closest to the end of the cable; the OMTP standard displays the grounding section of the connector closest to the end of the cable."

I realize what I said may be confusing. In a party chat, I can hear my friends but I can’t talk.

I have a wireless mic that I can hear but can’t talk through and then I have a mic that I plug in and. I can talk through that so why can’t I talk through my wireless mic
