I came back to my Xbox, and I was going to make my home Xbox but it said I had already used...

Customer support can’t offer additional switches. If you’ve made five home Xbox switches for the year and need assistance, select Help when you see the message Can’t make this your home Xbox. You may be eligible to receive an exception. If you don't get a survey, you'll have to wait until it resets on its own.

You'll also want to change your password since it sounds like someone else may have access to your account.

You can still play offline if you are using the "Home" xbox, like what has already been said, you just go to settings and change to "offline".

Eg. My son users the "home" xbox and he had no problems playing offline. I on the other hand could not sign in on My X1, as it isn't the "home" X1 in the house.

I also had this exact same issue. I shutdown softly with voice commands, and then brought back up via "Xbox On", but that came back up again with no video. It certainly is not an HDMI issue, since I did not lose sync. Happen when I said "Go Home". Had to
hard reset.

Update

Alright I don't know how or why but this is what I did.

Went to home (from settings/ my home xbox)

Closed/quit settings from options menu

Went back to settings/ personalisation/ home xbox

Went to learn more

Went to Number of Switches/ learn more

Read through/ opened all the Home Xbox topics

Selected 'No' under "did this resolve your issue" and hit B to go back

Now back at "number of Switches" pressed left over to settings next to learn more (where I just was)

Navigated back to personalization/ home Xbox

After a little buffering it showed the options and the box for make this my home Xbox was checked and it said I had 5/5, I hit the Xbox Button on the controller to get back to the home screen.

Went to try the game and it worked...

I'm at a loss on this but I'm happy

I have a question. I just got a new xbox and had the beta on my old one. I put in the product key and it said it had been used already. I trued to request a new key and it said none were available. Please tell me I can get the beta back on my new xbox!
