    I brought ori and the blind forest definitive edition but now been told I don't own it


    I'm having an issue with ori and the blind forest which I brought through a reseller site and successfully redeemed it back in October. I redeemed the code through xbox website on my account obviously and downloaded to my xbox fine but never started it as I was currently playing another game. I tried to play the game the other night and got a message saying it appears I don't own the game even though it's installed on my xbox. When I go to the xbox marketplace to try and download it it's no longer available. No I don't currently have game pass or nor did I have it when originally redeemed the code. it's still on my order history as being successfully redeemed but I can't play it. If I want it I can only get it if I pay £28 for it and the second game will of the wisps I ain't gunna do. To reiterate I hadn't at the time or even now had xbox game pass.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    If it's showing as redeemed on your Xbox order history we just need to perform troubleshooting steps such as removing and re-adding your account to sync your game data.

    REMOVE ACCOUNT​​​

    ​​​

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

    2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts. ​​​

    3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm. ​​​

    4. When you're finished, select Close. ​​​

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    ADD ACCOUNT​​​

    ​​​

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

    2. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new. ​​​

    3. Enter the Email address and the password.​​​

    4. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept. ​​​

    5. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox console.​​​

    When you check the link then scroll down you will see that "Playable On", as per checking the game version is for PC.
