if you wish to play online you need at least game pass core, if you wish to play the game you need a game pass ultimate

Of the two games you mentioned, only Fallout 76 is included with the Game Pass Core subscription. If you purchased GTA V Online separately, you will be able to play it without any problems with the subscription since it gives you access to online games, as it did before when it was called Xbox Live Gold.

On the left side of the website, in the "Memberships" section, select "Game Pass Core" to view the games that are part of that subscription.

Game Pass Core does not include all of the same games as Ultimate. Ultimate includes all games from Game Pass for console, PC Game Pass, and EA+ games. Game Pass Core is mainly for the ability to play online multiplayer and includes about 25 console games. So unless you've bought the games you're trying to play, you won't be able to play them unless they're one of the handful available with Core.
