I bought wrong digital game

I bought football manager for my son in pc format instead of Xbox , but only realised after he redeemed game that he cannot play this on out Mac pc. Can’t get any help on what to do or how to exchange to a compatible format. Any help please as this cost £45!!Thank you

It wouldn't show on Steam as Steam is it's own service and storefront. You would need to access the game from the Xbox app to play on a computer.

Hi , thanks for the reply. So how could he play this game? Do I need a non Mac pc? How to even get the game on Steam to play perhaps?? I can’t even see where the game is downloaded/ redeemed too??

Yes ss Mac blocks any service that overrides their own service

You have to install Windows thru bootcamp or parralells

The epic lawsuit changing that.hasn't taken.effect yet requiring apple to open to all competitors it will take time before Apple releases the permissions

Yes apple got sued and epic won so even iOS can't be locked down

Xbox app needs direct x
