I bought the new mw2 but it says this file appears to be corrupted I bought vault edition...

We need to validate your license for the game by signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders, make sure that the game is showing as "completed". Once confirmed, simply remove and re-add your account by following the steps below:

REMOVE ACCOUNT​​​

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts. ​​​

3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm. ​​​

4. When you're finished, select Close. ​​​

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

ADD ACCOUNT​​​

2. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new. ​​​

3. Enter the Email address and the password.​​​

4. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept. ​​​

5. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox console.​​​

After that go to "My games and apps" > Full Library > Owned games and install the game from there.

I bought the preorder mw2 vault edition, and it took out 106.99$ but says I don’t own it do I have to wait for it to come out or what.

Hello I’m in the same situation on Xbox series X I’ve bought the cross gen version of mw2. Yesterday it said I could upgrade to vault edition for £30 but today it says £99?

I originally bought the cross gen edition then recently bought the vault edition package separately. It just says buy in the store nothing for install.

If you look at your account.Microsoft.com it would probably be the charge for the cross gen mw2

HOWEVEr if you are trying to refund the mw 2 cross gen then no as mentioned you played it

Mw2 vault edition. Is a upgrade to the base game not a replacement

You wouldve had to buy the cross gen to play vault edition

I don't think you realize what you bought

When you buy the vault edition you MUST have the base game to play it

The vault edition code only gives you the additional dlc NOT THE game
