    I bought Skyrim Remastered on a disc ,but gave it away and was wondering . . .


    I got Skyrim Remastered on a disc, but gave it away
    because at the time my step-dad owned the Xbox One and I live with my mother. They broke up and stuff so when we moved,
    we didnt have an Xbox One so decided to give it to a friend I knew who loved playing Skyrim as much as I did and owned an xbox, but his parents wouldn't buy him it till his birthday. I decided to be nice and gave it to him, mostly because i
    saw him a lil brother honestly. Recently we got an xbox one along with a few games it came with, but cant buy the game again at the moment
    so I was wondering if it was possible for me to get the game again, but without having to pay for it?

    By the way, i`m completley fine with just having to pay for it again if its not possible.

    Didn't receive any rewards for buying Skyrim Remastered.

    I bought Skyrim Remastered at the start of December and never received any rewards for it.

    I "don't own" skyrim anymore?

    So about a while ago (probably 2 years ago) I purchased skyrim legendary/special edition for the 360, coming with 2 discs. The second disc installed the game, and the first one played it. The discs went missing roughly a year ago but on my xbox one yesterday
    I saw I could download skyrim, presumably because it was the same gamertag that I installed disc 2 on a few years back. But now my Xbox one says I don't even own the game, even though I played the game for hours yesterday?

    The game says it is still installed, just I don't own it. Any help? Let's say I bought the regular 360 edition from a local GameStop, would I be able to play the legendary/remastered edition on Xbox one then?

    I'll be honest and tell you, Xbox does not give out games to people after getting rid of them because they want it again. It's an unfortunate circumstance you have gone through and if I had a copy, I'd give it to you personally.

    The best advice I could give you would be to keep an eye out for a huge sale that may include it and also, pay attention to people Like Major Nelson on Twitter who do giveaways almost daily.

    Do you purchase remastered games you previously owned?

    Skyrim is the only remaster i’ve ever bought, the rest of the games that i play that are older are backwards compatible. And the only way i would but the remaster for those games is if there was some significant visual changes.
