I bought sea of thieves after my game pass expired although I own it I cant launch it.

I bought sea of thieves shortly after my game pass expired. Now I cannot play although I spent money to buy the game if anything are refunds available???

I would like to clarify, are you getting a prompt to buy an Xbox Live Gold subscription? If yes, just a friendly reminder though that to play an online multiplayer game such as Sea of Thieves an Xbox Live Gold subscription is required.

It still pulls up with the error when I try to install sea of thieves : / I also tried dragon ball fighterz which after resetting my pc could install but it still cant launch. So sea of thieves cant even download while dragon ball fighterz and other games can but cant launch. They all pop up with the same 0x803f001 error now.

I have my answer .... So i cant play the game until the next windows update, knowing that i activate the Xbox game pass for that game, can i have a reset of my trial time ?

Ahoy LordAshron01, Thank you for contacting Sea of Thieves Support. Unfortunately we are aware a small subset of players are still experiencing the crash on launch even after applying the fix below. A Windows Update is due to release in March with a fix
for this issue. Please grab this Windows Update when it is available and if your issue persists please get back in touch. Regards,

Ok, at least we know that we have tried everything and just have to wait...

But it's unfortunate, I also activated the Xbox game pass for the trial time to see if it's worth continuing after it expires.

Hopefully the update will arrive soon...

Ok. Doesn't seem to have much variety for fantasy aww. I saw that reviews for Sea of thieves suck. There's a clause of the game pass that says once it expires after a month, will prompt a fee payment?
