I bought MWII Vault Edition and only got New gen Edition not old gen

Discus and support I bought MWII Vault Edition and only got New gen Edition not old gen in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I currently have a Xbox Series S and I bought MWII Vault edition as it came with X|S and Xbox one versions of the game, battle pass etc. And literally...     I bought MWII Vault Edition and only got New gen Edition not old gen


    I currently have a Xbox Series S and I bought MWII Vault edition as it came with X|S and Xbox one versions of the game, battle pass etc. And literally today I was going to delete the X|S version for Old gen but I can't as I don't own it apparently. When I go to Vault edition it says I don't own it same with Cross-gen edition. I check online to see what account I purchased it in and it's the account I can play it on. Is there a way to obtain Xbox one version without rebuying the game.

    No as smart delivery takes into account your CPU and GPU and storage

    You are getting compressed files and not 4k textures etc

    If you look at your account.Microsoft.com it would probably be the charge for the cross gen mw2

    HOWEVEr if you are trying to refund the mw 2 cross gen then no as mentioned you played it

    Mw2 vault edition. Is a upgrade to the base game not a replacement

    You wouldve had to buy the cross gen to play vault edition

    I don't think you realize what you bought

    When you buy the vault edition you MUST have the base game to play it

    The vault edition code only gives you the additional dlc NOT THE game

    Why is xbox still prompting me to buy a game I have already bought ?

    I originally bought the cross gen edition then recently bought the vault edition package separately. It just says buy in the store nothing for install.

    Problems with the upgrade vault edition

    The vault edition upgrade is only available for the digital version of the cross-gen bundle. I would get a refund immediately.
