I bought Minecraft forever ago but now it says I don't own it

If you are using a Windows PC, please ensure you are signed into the Xbox app and Microsoft Store with the account which owns the game.

Also, please let me know of any troubleshooting steps you may have tried so far, and provide screenshots of this issue if possible.

Oh, nevermind. It turns out that I’d already installed it with game pass but it expired, causing me to not be able to play Java. I’d already bought Bedrock, so I think the store thought I’d purchased the bundle. We’re all good now

Please, open the Microsoft Store on your computer.

Then, click on Library > Games.

On the far right corner, click on the drop-down menu and uncheck "Show only installed Apps".

Hello Creepyma3s11, where you are trying to play GTA and what version of GTA would be, some versions of GTA have distinct versions for Xbox 360 and One, so they are not backwardcompatible.

Go to your "Purchase History" account and see if you can find the game, verify that the purchase has completed successfully, or if there have been any refund or return requests for the game.

I’d recommend contacting Xbox Support and see if they can register it as owned again. The only advice I could give you is to hard reset your console using the instructions here: https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/console/reset-console-to-factory-defaults

Little warning that if something isn’t connected or saved with Xbox Live that it will be erased. Hope this helps!
