I bought Minecraft for my Xbox one, the Microsoft store won't let me install it

I bought Minecraft about a month ago for my Xbox one via in store credit. I want to install it on my PC but it won't let me. I've looked everywhere in the store but it isn't there. I've been told that it is possible to download Minecraft if I bought it
on Xbox but maybe this isn't true. Please help.

unfortunately it is a seperate purchase for each system, it is not a play anywhere title.

I did, and it won't let me install minecraft, let alone let me reinstall it. It finishes the download, says "Something happened on our end" in the Microsoft store, and gives me error code "0x80073D0D"

i bought on the microsoft store minecraft bedrock edition and on the old microsoft store i saw a button which let me install it on the xbox aswell but now with the new store i the button isn't there anymore so i don't understand that and if i look at minecraft is says i can play on console and pc

Hi,

Minecraft Xbox One Edition does appear in my order history, which I bought in 2015, but the newer Minecraft (Bedrock Edition) which I would've installed in late 2017 doesn't appear.

On the website you linked, Minecraft appears with a 'buy now' button, which takes me to the Microsoft Store, where it says "Install, you own this", similarly to the Store on the console itself.
