I just bought a redeem code and can't activate it now and I want a refund.

Gold subs are now region locked? When did that happen? Sent a subs to friends abroad a few years back and they could redeem them with no problem.

Your friend would be the one the refund it since they bought it. If you don't want it, just don't redeem it.
