    No, you don't need to pay for an Xbox Game Pass Core or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate since you'll play the game Madden 24 in offline mode.

    However, if you have changed your mind and you wanted to play with your friends online, you will need either one of the subscriptions mentioned above to be able to play online multiplayer in the game.

    Both subscriptions enable online multiplayer on your account.

    If you want to play the game offline, then you do not need a subscription to play it.

    I played madden 25 offline yesterday. I dont know if there is a 24 hour check in I would assume there would be since I could pay 5 dollards download the games off the vault and cancel my subscription and get 4 games for 5 dollars.
