I bought game pass for pc and it still says "join game pass" when I want to install games

I bought game pass ultimate before, after a few months I wanted to rejoin. This time I bought game pass for pc, not the ultimate edition, but when I want to install games it says "play with game pass" instead of "install". When I click "play with game pass" it says "manage" and leads me to my Microsoft account to manage my payments. I really can not understand what is the problem here.

Did you resolve this? I just got the game pass for pc and I have the same problem.

I just checked my Xbox app and realized it's working properly now. And honestly, I didn't do anything. Just rebooted the system and played some games.

I highly recommend following the troubleshooting steps here:

After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

First, please select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm.

Then, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2-3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

If the issue persists, please select System > Settings > devices and streaming > blue ray > persistent storage > clear three times > restart console.

If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps

Hi Metehansengul! I may have figured out how to fix this issue because I had the same issue, here is how I fixed it.

First make sure you are in the correct Xbox App, I believe there is two. A companion and the other one. I was on the companion app and it was acting like I did not have the ultimate pass in the store. I also have 2 emails linked to my xbox account (microsoft, and xbox account) .

There is an alert at the top of the screen if you click the learn more it will ask you if you want to set your Xbox account as your store account. I said yes and the ultimate pass was activated.

If you dont see the alert at the top then you can go into your account and click store account and make sure it is the correct Xbox account email.
