I BOUGHT FLIGHT SIM 2020 THRU STEAM, AND WONT DOWNLOAD

What is cd? Why wont you buy it on steam?

Yes Doom 3 still wont even start on my laptop (as is commonly reported in all of the one star reviews as well). Can you fix this game please as all the others (Flight Sim, Forza Horizon 5, Doom (2016) Steam version) run fine. If I could get an XBox version of Doom 2016 that'd do because I don't have HDD space (or the inclination) to install the Steam app.

i did it the other way around, i bought on steam, download didnt work, refunded it, got it from MS store, installed 127 gb and the premium content is still not loading. in the marked the premium content is "already bought" but in the content manager the
files like eddf, 787 etc. do not have a version number. the main game says "please restart the game to get up to date" but when i am restarting, nothing happens, it just goes directly into the main screen.

i tryed everything that is written in any forum, tried it with another ms acc, offline acc, reinstalled 2 times... no changes thats really a pain in the .....

Edit: By the way if im reinstalling, the packages like EDDF, Cessna, 787 are downloaded, and if im going in the game dir i can see the folders and they are filled with dates so... the content is there, it just wont load into the game i seems

I'm sure the PC can run it because I've been playing for a month.

I tried to contact the support team of the game but after 2 days I still got no answer.

Also I downloaded the Football Manager 2020 Demo from steam to see if it would launch and it ran just fine.

So I thought that the game pass is the problem.

To the point "When you mention that none of my favorite three reasons are plausible, I don't see how the game could be causing the issue on my system but not on any other system of other users as well!?" - This issue is common with MSFS. It is actually a major sore point on gamers trying to play the game. That's why I don't believe it is an issue pertaining to the things you listed because the only inoperable thing on your PC is the game itself. I assume, your computer is working fine, you can play other games without issue, and you can connect to the internet without issue as well across several apps such as other games and your browser. It is less that your system is the issue, but how the software interacts with your system > thus the source of the issue being the game.

It just falls under the "MSFS Installer won't install issue" which again, I am not a developer for MSFS so any answers I give you here will be answers that were posted somewhere on the internet. In truth - I am not going to try to promise you a miracle solution - I am just going to try my best as you are. So to the best of my ability I will try to list every solution I've found with it's corresponding link as a resource.

I would also see if you can resubmit a ticket - it is now September, and you haven't gotten a reply since July. This will either revive your ticket and get you a response or get a new support agent that will be more active on your ticket.
