i bought cod point 20$ i didn't get them i want a refund 20$ refund

My request was denied by Microsoft because I bought COD points with it and then used those to buy the Battlepass bundle. I think they are saying because I used the COD points I can't get a refund from them which I think is
[Mod removed] because I didn't receive what I purchased with the points.

I agree, I bought it on Steam for £40, and if it had been say £20 or even £25 I wouldn't have bothered getting a refund.

This same thing is happening to me. But the game was Apex Legends. I bought a $20 pack of apex coins and didn’t receive the coins. Though the purchase was in my billing history. Even if I wanted to refund it I can’t, I’m out of refunds. This is happening on Xbox.
