Please restart your router. Turn off your router, wait for about 30 seconds, and then turn it back on. This can help resolve temporary network issues.

And then power cycle your console by turning off your Xbox Series X and unplug the power cable. Wait for about 10 seconds, then plug it back in and turn on the console. This can help resolve temporary issues.

Next is clear alternate MAC address. Go to Settings > Network > Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear. Restart your console.

Then check for system updates. Kindly make sure your console is updated to the latest firmware version. Go to Settings > System > Updates & downloads and check for updates.

If your Xbox is too far from your router, the signal may be weak. Please move your console closer to the router to improve the connection.

If the issue persist after performing the troubleshooting steps, kind set DNS Settings manually. Please go to settings> network> network settings> Advanced settings>DNS Settings> Manual.

PRIMARY DNS: 8.8.8.8

SECONDARY DNS: 8.8.4.4

Kindly restart your Xbox and also your router after performing these steps.

Well to be honest its my daughters. Anyway we have bought an xbox x and yesterday when she first set it up it was fine but then today when she wanted to get a code sent to her phone it wont send thw txt with the code, its saying the account is there but wont do anything,

I actually just bought an X1 yesterday. Been having the same exact issues. Gotta say, its a bit unfortunate this is my first impressions for the console from playing a PS4.

My Xbox One X does not have this issue (as of now, hope I don't have it in the future).

If you bought it yesterday, go to change the console as it may be defective.
