okay so I bought an xbox Series S for myself as a birthday gift and I got it from ebay. When i turn it on it says that it was banned from the Xbox live network. There are not any accounts already on the Xbox and the ebay listing said that it was new. It wont let me even add my account to the xbox. I have contacted the seller and they will not respond to anything. Can someone help me use my Xbox because I do not have the money to buy another one?

Unfortunately there is no way to reverse a console ban. Since the seller won't respond, go through Ebay to get a refund.

never buy a used console, as this is what it can lead too, you may even get a working one to find it gets banned further down the line when the ban finally gets processed which can take weeks or even a couple of months.

It happened to me. I bought the Xbox One S on a good price, January this year to play FS2020.... Just thinking on it.

I read that will run on Series S, how can I know that SERIES is the name of the console? They made it on purposeful.

Understood. So what do I do with the Xbox Series S I bought? I have never intended to bypass any laws and did not know that purchasing an Xbox would be so limited? Is there a way to access something, or buy games?

I'm sorry but no, Ban. The game Grand Theft Auto V (Xbox Series X|S) is not compatible with Xbox One X or Xbox One S, only on Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S consoles.
