I bought a xbox live gold and put the code in and it saying its been used already i need help

I need help with my xbox live gold card

I bought an xbox one gold membership, I registered the card, and it appeared that i already had the gold. But then i turned my Xbox of and on again, and there was the message saying that I didn't had the gold membership. I tried to put the code again, but
there was the message telling that the code was already used.

I really need help.

Please help me I spent £40 on a Xbox live 12 months gold membership and I put the code in and it said try again so I tried again and it said this code has already been used help me please

there is a possibility that the store you bought the card from hadn't correctly activated it one option is to go back to the store you purchased the code from and have them check if it was activated

 

Did you buy it from any websites like cdkeys.com, etc? If it was a physical card, you can go back to the store for a refund.

 

Did you buy a physical code card where you had to tear off or rub away a cover that covered the code?

Or did you buy the code online from a store that sent you the code via email?

If so, you will have to contact the store where you bought the code, and complain that they sent you a redeemed code.
