I bought a new shock blue series controller and they sent me a used one, but in a new box.

I bought the brand new shock blue xbox controller off microsoft 2 days ago and it came this afternoon. The very depressing catch is that they clearly and very obviously sent me a heavily used controller. I already had one of the brand new series controllers
and so i was easily able to tell the one they just sent me was used. Where your thumbs rest on the sticks are way more worn down than the other side, and the new textured grip on the back is visible but is extraordinarily more smooth than my other one. And
if the grip and thumbsticks dont sell it, the second i opened it i knew there was something wrong because it was dusty, grimy, and the actual paint finish looked like its been in the hands of a player heavily already since the finish had turned way more smooth
as well. What completely depletes me of hope is that the last time i had a controller problem and requested a “replacement”, i was sent the same controller back and was told its a new one. Same stick drift, same stick button, and same loose back panel that
all came out of the brand new box when i had first got it. All i want is for a kind hard working microsoft employee to do the job right and satisfy a customer who has yet again been completely put in the bad end of the deal with microsoft.

I had went and tried to get a repair because replacement was less than 3 days after warranty expired and i have to pay to repair it even though it was new replacement and brand new reoccurring issue with all elite2 and shock blues. Its a bummer because i absolutely love both controllers and have to deal with it irritatingly because by the time i pay out of irritation and wait, i could go and drop money on controllers i dont need for the same price and wait time. BIG BUMMER.

I had the same problem but I sent a series s controller and I got a one s controller in return, and the series s controller I sent came with my Xbox, brand new

I am sorry your facing an issue with the Series X.
Can you confirm whether it is the controller not connecting to the Series X or the Series X not connecting to the TV?

Hi jemi thanks for replying sorry for the delay in answering the controller x box series x worked for some time it disconnected a few times then it started to disconnect often practically every time I used it it was not used with the pc and it is unacceptable that things like this happen to me in 2022 it has already happened to me with the x box one 2 times sent for assistance with the x series it no longer works even with the original cable I think you should try to solve the problem once for all maybe redesigning new controllers but this time with a new technology I would be willing to buy it even out of warranty thanks to you soon

Xbox Series X will release Holiday 2020, given Xbox's track record of releasing new consoles, they've usually been around November.
