i bought a 3 months Xbox live gold and the code is saying something thing did not work

Alright I "fixed" this.

I was in a party chat with a friend of mine who also did the account migration and he was having the same issues that I had.

Thing is his Xbox Live gold subscription was about to run out next month so he bought a 12 month card to keep gold. So after redeeming the code everything went back to normal he said. Recent instantly worked again, the social tab showed the correct gamerscore
and achievements and the gamer picture stopped flashing.

So to test things out I just bought a 1 month live card off ebay and redeemed it. What can I tell you? Everything works again.

Only thing I can think of is that something didn't quite work right with the Xbox Live subscription transfer.

I got an error, I'm from Romania and just today I bought a code Xbox Live Gold Membership valid for 3 months and says it's not valid, and the site says that something is wrong: Something Went Wrong

Give it Another try. If this Happens again, let us know by Entering the code Below it we can at xbox.com/errorhelp investigated.

Under "Transactions" all it says is 12 Month Gold Membership 3 times, when my Gold ended last month. It doesn't say anything about the 3 Month Gold, and when I try to go onto Xbox LIVE it says I only have a free Silver membership. So I don't think the code
went through, unless I have to do something else to activate it or something?

Also I checked very carefully every time to make sure I typed the code in properly, so although I won't say there's absolutely no way I made a mistake, it's just very unlikely I did over and over again.

Something similar happened to me too. I just bought mx Xbox 360 today and wanted to log in to Xbox Live as I had a download code for Crysis 2 along with codes for 3 months Xbox Live Gold membership. I opened an Xbox Live account via my pc and upgraded it
using the codes for Gold membership. Everything went well, in my pc I can log in to Xbox Live account and see that I have a 3 months Gold membership.

Now when I tried to sign in to the Xbox Live via my Xbox 360, it says that " Thie Windows Live ID is associated with a different gamertag. Enter another Windows Live ID and password".

What does that actually mean?

Depending on where/how you bought 3 months Xbox Live Gold, you don't get a code for Rocket League.

If you bought the 3 months Xbox Live Gold through your console, you should get the game added automatically to your account. Simply download it.

If you bought 3 months in an (online) store, you get the code either printed on the receipt, or via mail from the store. In that case, you'll need to contact the store from which you bought the 3 month code for the Rocket League code.
