I bought a 20 euro's xbox card and redeem but the money is not there

I redeem a 20 euro card and want to by destiny but the xbox think I have only 4 cent

hi there, well i have this problem i am from venezuela and i bought 2 Microsoft Points cards by Amazon and a bring them here to venezuela, all right but my problem is that when i tried to redeem them it says Error Code 8016A04B

i think it has to be something with the region but then what should i do? i already tried to redeem other codes,the Halo Reach that came with the xbox and never was able to redeem it but it didnt matter, but now a bought this cards and i want to redeem
but i just cant, what can i do, to at least dont waste the money? please help me guys i need the support i have two cards one of 1600 MPs and the other of 4000 MPs i've been able to redeem a code of three months that came with the xbox too... at least if i
cant redeem the codes is there a way that a recover the money? thank you guys i wish you could help me =)

Sounds like your billing,console & actual location don't all match if you are buying cards in euro's but your account balance is showing in cents.

Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened.

 

Just a heads up, I used to live in Spain (where they use Euro's) and I can confirm that his Location is okay. Euro's is also in cents as well as USD.

 

Really? I didn't know that.I use good old pounds & pence here in England

 

FYI even if the eu uses one currency the currency cards are region locked

So if you bought French or England euro cards it won't work

You would.need to bhy Spanish cards
