    I believe I was selected but my Xbox One is in a questionable state...


    So I got the message saying that I have until 6/30/21 to claim my xbox series X from the console pilot program. Unfortunately earlier this month, a power surge hit my house and killed my Xbox One. It's saying I have to answer the message from a console and my immediate friends are blessed with the series consoles. Can I get on their console and still make my purchase???

    You can try to log into support.xbox.com on your phone or computer and put your billing info in. Once you have updated the info it will update your xbox. Hopefully this will fix your problem

    Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums! I understand that this situation can be frustrating but, I will be happy to assist you with it today! Just to clarify, are you trying to add billing info on your console while also adding a credit or debit card on
    your account? If so, I would suggest trying to
    add or update your info     on the website first. If that doesn't work either I would then suggest troubleshooting your console. You can try to

    Power Cycle     the console to see if that resolves the issue.

    You should be able to purchase a new power brick using the site below I believe the correct one will get sent based on your shipping address.

    You will need to click on your registered Xbox One console then select the option to replace an accessory.
