    I appear to have lost my minecraft licence


    So, here's my situation, I decided to change the email address of my microsoft account, just added a new one and set it as main alias, but I haven't removed the old one but whenever I open the minecraft launcher and login it asks me to purchase the game and only lets me play the demo.

    Even tho on the official page says changing the email address will keep licences it appears I lost mine.

    Concerned about your licenses? Don’t worry—if you change your account alias, or remove an alias and then add a new one, all licenses linked to your Microsoft account will remain with your account.

    It appears to be a bug with the new launcher, I had the launcher from the microsoft store installed + everything up to date on the windows side

    I uninstalled the new launcher and installed the windows 7/8 version and it detects the licence there.

    Hello Cristianmartinez_aa, it's really weird that this is happening, however try doing the following, uninstall the Minecraft launcher, make sure your Windows has the latest version installed they usually come as optional, and after restarting the PC install the launcher by the Xbox store.

    If it doesn't work the ideal would be to contact xbox service via chat pata that can make a verification on your account.

    Since they lost the PGA licence I think E.A. have lost interest in making golf games.

    The Golf Club games are the only ones about now & they have the PGA licence.

    Think one of them is on gamepass if you have that.

    Why did my microsoft account with purchased minecraft licence got deleted?

    I have no emails or other notifications about any changes. Most recent one was from microsoft about an update to their terms of use. My other email also does not have minecraft licence.

    do you have gamepass ultimate by chance, i have found that games i own appear under gamepass section only while subscribed as the gamepass licence overrides your own licence whilst subbed. Once the sub ends they reappear under owned games.
