I am unable to sign into account on xbox 360 games, playing from xbox series x

To transfer your Xbox 360 DLC to your Xbox Series X, you need to follow these steps:

With regards to downloading your profile to Xbox 360 games, may I ask if there are any error messages? If it is something about the credentials, the 360 system only accepts password which are less than 16 characters.

For mine I use 12 characters password only. Also, if your account has 2 step verification enabled you may need to create an app password for it. You can create one by going to https://account.microsoft.com/security page by going to "Advanced security options" from there you can choose to either turn off your 2 step verification or generate an app password that you can use to login.

I've tried this now, but adding more accounts to the Series X does not help (the same as having guest-accounts signed in). Xbox 360 games do not appear to see these users and I'm unable to select them when adding players to 360-games.

So it appears I need a different solution. :/

Elaborating slightly: None of our family accounts on the same xbox aside from mine have xbox live gold (ultimate in my case). Previously on xbox one x, for instance, my wifes xbox account, she would sign into MWF3 360, go to live and join games. Now on
xbox series X, same exact steps, it throws the error. You could always play under other accounts as long as one account was a live paid account (360 or regular xbox one x titles), now it only works for one x or one x series x titles.

I am having the same issue and same error code (80151912) when I'm running the Xbox 360 emulator on my Xbox series X.

I can sign into Xbox live on my Xbox series x but not on the emulator running the Xbox 360.
