I am unable to replace two email addresses on account for a gamer tag?

I'm about to give up - your system keep asking me to verify using one of two addresses that are expired, I don't own the domain any more.

Primary address email is changed. But keep getting these alternate addresses as suggestions when signing up for games.

How do proceed - I've been sent in circle now for hours.

One procedure send me an email with a button with a link - but this always session expired.

Eventually got through some kind of thingy saying my security will be replace in a month - what the f-k is that?

Is this the alternate address email I try to change?

I keep getting suggestions signing up to game accounts on third party - and getting suggested these expired email all the time.

And I cannot figure out how do a simple thing like changing two email addresses to something.

Merge accounts/gamertags?

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I have an existing Windows Live ID and gamertag which I use to play games on my PC.

I was recently given an XBox. When I tried to log in to XBox Live, I was unable to access my existing account (an error message popped up to tell me that "this email address is associated with an existing gamertag"). I was forced to create a new accountr
with a new gamertag and a different email address.

Is there any way that i can now merge the two accounts? I have two gamertags with two Live accounts registered at two different email addresses... not very convenient!

Transfer of account to new email

You can't transfer content from one account to another.

If you replace the account email address with his, you'll most likely lose your email address if yours is a hotmail/outlook/live email address

So what is going on with the wait for 30 days is you updated a security proof and it takes affect after the 30 day.

As you don't have access to the 2 emails on the account, this would be the best option as of now. If you really want to get into the account now you will have to cancel the security change, then do the forgot password but select I don't have any of these
when asking to verify. It will then take you thru the ACSR (account recovery form). That is the only way to recover the account. Once you are in then you can update the email to a current one.

Thank you kindly for a speedy response.

I have the primary address and come into account - but I don't see those other two addresses anywhere to Edit or change.

What happend with this security thing?

I have no idea what that is, compared to primary address - just alternate stuff that I entered at some time.

To go through the verification thingy I get two to choose from - none of those are visible anywhere that I have found.

Will one of those now be in process to be replaced in 30 days?

And then I can change the other one that is not valid anymore, or?

Yes so basically you added a security proof either it was a phone number or an email. Once after that takes effect you will then be able to change the other email. At that time you then will be able to verify the account with the new proof you had added.
If unsure you can always
contact us and an agent will be able to help you go thru the process.
