I am unable to play a game on my two xboxes at once.

My "home xbox" is white and has lots of games on there. I have three profiles signed in. Profile 1, profile 2, and profile 3. Profile 1 has a gold subscription.

My second xbox is black. It also has all three profiles and a few games. On the black xbox I log in with profile 1 (which has gold). If my son logs into the white xbox with profile 2 or 3 he can only play if he kicks me out and same the other way.

I thought I could play both xbox's separately at the same time but I get a message saying only one at a time. I have all three profiles in my xbox family app set up.

Am I missing something or do I need a second gold? My hope is I can play co-op or against my son by using the one gold membership.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Just a friendly reminder though that setting up a family setting does not mean that the game and subscriptions will be shared to their account, it is a feature where you can manage a child account.

Good thing you have the white one set as Home Xbox, you should be able to play with any of the two profiles because you're sharing the subscription from there.

1. Sign in to your account on the white one.

2. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

3. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

4. Check "Make this as My Home Xbox".

Once done, click your Gamerpic click "sign out", try again after that.

Again, two nights in a row I get in and then kicked out once a game is completed so unable to obtain my prizes. This is ridiculous!!!
