    I am unable to leave the minecraft Xbox beta


    I’ve attempted to get out of the minecraft beta if unenrolled on the Xbox insider uninstalled minecraft as well as hard resetting multiple times but every time it does reinstalls the beta.

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are experiencing difficulties with leaving the beta for Minecraft.

    Typically, the only way to
    leave or join a beta for Minecraft     is through that Insider Hub app, however, if you are unable to leave it using normal means, I would have to recommend that you visit the

    Xbox Insiders     reddit for much more catered assistance regarding this matter.

    I'm sorry about any confusion or turmoil this might have caused.

    Hello @HaRrY9FTW!

    We'd recommend following the next steps in that exact order and see if this fixes the issue:

    1. Check if there is an update for the Xbox Insiders Hub on PC.
    2. Un-enroll from the Minecraft Beta via the Xbox Insiders Hub.
    3. Uninstall the beta version for Minecraft.
    4. To be sure wait a couple of hours (or a day).
    5. Restart the PC during that wait time.
    6. Try to install Minecraft again via your Library on the store, make sure to select the standard version and not the Beta version, in the situation that multiple versions show up. As alternate option try to install the version from store in case installing from library doesn't work.

    Hi!

    Try these steps to leave Minecraft Beta:

    1. Open the Xbox Insider Hub app and unenroll from the beta.
    2. Uninstall Minecraft.
    3. Power cycle Xbox console by holding down the power button until the console turns off, wait 10 seconds, then turn the console back on.
    4. Reinstall Minecraft from the Ready to Install section of Games & Apps.
