I am very sorry for the problem you are going through, with the intention of being able to help you I did an internal search on the Microsoft forum and found a publication by Gerardo C., an independent advisor, where he suggests the following steps to try to solve the problem:

1. Perform a hard reset of your Xbox app. To do this, you must type in the Windows search engine and open the following: Applications and features.

2. Find the "Xbox" application and select it, then click on Advanced Options and click on "Reset" and confirm the process.

3. Restart your PC by finishing the above.

4. Check if it already allows you to use chats.

None of this has helped. I am still unable to join my party channel while in a party. I can select it and choose join but it does nothing

I am unable to join any parties.

Sorry let me clarify I'm on pc, I always use this same headset on xbox and mobile it works fine. I am UNABLE to join a party on pc it does not let me join or host and there is no error message. I am using Ethernet and when I said xbox beta I meant the
xbox gamepass beta app.

I could accept this answer if I had this issue the entire time but nothing in my network has changed or if I was not able to hear people in parties. This literally started up a week ago and once I get the party invite it is OK. Prior to that I was able
to join open parties no problem but now It does not give me the join party option. I can hear people perfectly fin in Xbox party and some game chat but I am unable to join parties that do not have an invite restriction on them.
