Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:



Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console



1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: Try to uninstall and reinstall the game.

Solution 3: Try setting up manual DNS settings on your console.

1. Please go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > DNS settings >> manual

2. Primary DNS: 208.67.222.222

3. Secondary DNS: 208.67.220.220

Are you unable to connected to or being disconnected from LIVE when using Black Ops, or are you unable to connect to the Black Ops servers?

I'm having the same issues with Black Ops 3. Version 37.0.0.0 will not update no matter what i try. I even restored my xbox to factory settings and reinstalled the game, still won't connect. This is driving me insane. I've been dealing with this for 4 days
now.

I'm having the same issue but on the Xbox series s, black ops 3 won't connect to the online server. Tried the above troubleshooting and didn't help. I also cannot play the game offline because it crashes when I try.

It is the same for me. I get this message since the last system update. It is frustrating because I was able to connect to black ops servers before!!! Why all of a sudden you have to be a gold member to connect to the black ops server?
