I am unable to access the privacy settings.

I am using the xbox game pass on pc, and while trying to access certain games on xcloud (Fortnite), I get the following error:

Can't do this because of how your account is set up. Either enter your pin or authorize using your microsoft account.

I tried to check the settings, but when trying to access the privacy settings, it opens a web page, but it doesn't load. Instead I get the following error:

An error occurred while processing your request.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

Just a friendly reminder though that there are multiple reports in regards to the same issue, I myself am experiencing it. This can be an intermittent issue however, there are no official announcements yet from Microsoft which means that we may just need to wait for now for you to access the account and privacy settings.

But once you were able to access it, make sure that these settings are set to "allow" or "everyone":

* You can see and upload community creations

* You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text

* Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites

* You can play with people outside of Xbox Live

* You can create and join clubs

* You can join multiplayer games

Make sure to hit “submit” when you made any changes.

I am able to access my microsoft privacy settings and make changes, but when I go to my Xbox privacy settings from that site it again redirects me to this site:

I am still unable to change my Xbox privacy settings.

I am sad to say, this is not the case. I went to do that, and go to my privacy settings and for Xbox One/Windows 10 privacy settings and it still said.
We were unable to load your settings at this time. Please try again later.
I still am unable to change this to let me set these options.

Hey there Mattakuz!

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your account. Luckily, this is normally a pretty simple fix.

The best solution to this is to use the
Contact Us page to set up a support call so you can speak with a billing specialist. They'll be able to look at your account and determine what needs to be done to remove the suspension.

One of two things.

1: Your account is set to child like settings. This can be fixed by changing the settings from the preferences menu. Press menu -> Go to settings -> Go to preferences etc...

2: Your internet connection isn't fully stable and is set to restricted. This can be fixed by either changing it manually or securing your connection.

Honestly, its late and I don't really feel like responding properly to this post but seeing as how no one has helped you...meh.. Also, wrong section for support of this nature.
