    I am unable to access gta 5 online


    I have an issue with gta 5 online. Whenever I go to play gta online my xbox tells me I have to buy the game pass to play it. I have the entire game purchased digitally and I am able to play the campaign fine. I have Xbox live gold and can play online games but gta online does not work. I do not own the game pass. Please fix this issue for me.

    Update the app: Make sure you are using the latest version of the app.

    Check your payment method: Make sure your payment method is up to date and valid

    Change network settings: Go to your network settings and in advanced options change the DNS to 8.8.8.8 primary and 8.8.4.4 secondary

    Just putting it out there

    TIP: If you try to join a Heist and you see:

    1) "Gathering GTA Online Sessions Details..."

    2) "Unable to Connect to Session"

    3) There was an error...Please try again later. Accessing GTA: O session..."

    "Dashboard it" and then access GTA: V again. This will stop the problems until the next *** up!

    The reason you cannot play GTA Online with your physical copy of GTA 5 is that the online portion of the game requires a separate license. When you purchase a physical copy of GTA 5, you are only purchasing the single-player portion of the game, and you will need to purchase a separate license for GTA Online to access the online features.
