I am a little confused, is this an actively used account or an old account from 6 or 7 years ago? Regardless, 2 Step Authentication is a great way to keep your account secure.

It literally says “the Microsoft account you have entered does not exist” when I’ve had this account for 7 maybe 8 years? When I try to recover the account with my email it’s saying it literally doesn’t exist but the account still exists like I can add it on Xbox from a different account

Since it's so old...there is no way to recover it because there is no Windows Live ID (Microsoft Account) associated with it. I have an account that I'd like to recover as well from years ago, but it's lost.

I'm afraid it's gone for good my friend.

Hello RareN7General, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your account.

I'm afraid that if your grandmother had closed the account then it's more than likely that you'll not be able to recover it. However, as you say you've already got a reference number going I'd recommend keeping up with the support ticket that you already have in place.
