i am trying to play sea of thieves on pc it is saying i am not connected to xbox live

Have you checked if other online games are working? If you have other games that rely on Xbox Live such as Forza or Halo please try those titles.

- Make sure Windows is up-to-date: On your PC, go to Settings > Windows Update. Select 'Check for updates' and install any available updates.

- Update the Xbox app and Gaming services: Go to the Microsoft Store > Library, then select 'Get Updates'. Install any available app updates.

- Restart your PC and router: If the issue persists, try restarting your PC and router to ensure they are operating as expected. To restart your PC, go to the Start menu, select the power icon and then choose Restart.To restart your router, unplug it for 10 seconds then plug it back in.

- Reinstall the Gaming Services: Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type Powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.

In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:
get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:
start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.

Restart your PC.
