Fortnite DLC codes redeemed through Xbox are for Xbox consoles only. You need to load Fortnite on an Xbox console for the content to be redeemed to your Fortnite account. You can do this with a physical console or Xbox Cloud Gaming: Xbox.com/play

I figured it out. Load through your phone or PC to the Xbox cloud. Load up Fortnite and it'll let u do it through there. Quit the game on your device and log back in in your console

Does the issue happen to your other games on cloud gaming?

Please try to clear your browser's data and also try to connect using a different network or find a stable internet connection.

I see, something you can try is loading up Fortnite via Xbox Cloud Gaming instead and see if the issue persists. This could help isolate the problem. You do not need a paid subscription for this.

First, try to hold the power button on the console for about 10 seconds, and then restart the console.

If the game still fails to load completely, go to My Games and Apps, find the Fortnite tile, and press the menu button on the controller (the small button with three lines to the right of the Xbox button) and manage the game installation

In the game management screen, delete the LOCAL COPY of the savegame for Fortnite. DO NOT delete the savegame from "all consoles" in the cloud storage!!!

Then try to start the game again. The console will synchronize the savegame from the cloud. DO NOT ABORT that synchronization.

If the game still fails to load, go to the game management menu again, and uninstall Fortnite completely.

Re-Download the game and if necessary let it update again.
