I am Trying to link my xbox account to my riot account for the benefits of Game pass...

Ok If you’re an Xbox Game Pass member and your Riot Account isn’t receiving Game Pass member benefits more than 24 hours after linking your Xbox profile, you will need to contact Riot Player Support.

This means that it would be best to wait as of the moment and then sign out as well as sign back in on your Riot launcher.
