I am trying to join servers on ark survival ascended and cant join official or unofficial...

I am also having the same problem and cannot join a unofficial server on ark due to this

So I have done some more troubleshooting. She can join other servers. I on my pc can also join official servers. I do have all the ports open and forwarded that Xbox normally requires. My pc still says join failed when I try to join her. Same on Xbox side. My pc does say could not retrieve address when I try to join unofficial dedicated arks.

I am sorry the troubleshooting didn't fix the issue.

We already tried a new DNS, reset the console, and tried a different connection, but nothing worked.

This is strange.

You can try to clear your console MAC address.

Let's hope this fixes the issue:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system, then Settings.

In the General tab, select Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear.

Restart your console. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your controller to open the Power Center.

Select Restart console and then select Restart.

(If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.)

Hi Rodrigo, I connected my Xbox to my hotspot like you asked and it just did the same thing and stayed on the joining server screen.

I don’t know why this is happening.

Do I need to get someone to come and check it out or can you find other ways to fix it?
