I wasted my day off trying to figure this out all day. The things you suggested are a copy paste from another place where I found others with the same issue. Why doesnt Microsoft send someone to my house and they can go through all the steps again.

Here is the fix that I found, for anyone else having this issue. Buy Forza from Steam. click download, it will tell you the file size, make sure you have enough room. Wait some time for it to download and install. click play, enjoy the game!

No need to troubleshoot, restart, reformat, defrag, contact the pentagon, get the security codes from Biden and then see if MAYBE that fixed it.

After you enjoy the game for some time, and get in a good mood from a quality game supplier. Contact Microsoft support and request a refund, and request a new SSD OS because while their app was installing forza an error came up and your computer bluescreened right at the point when the app had an error. Also request for your wasted time of a whole day troubleshooting the way they told you, just so you can end up not fixing the game, and in the process removing everything you had on your computer for no reason at all, because it is NOT PEOPLES COMPUTER THAT IS THE PROBLEM. IT IS YOUR XBOX APP AND THE WAY IT DOWNLOADS.

BUT WHY, do you say you need 130GB for the game, when in actuality while its downloading it will use 260 GIGS, thus possibly corrupting your drive from filling it up because you thought 130GB is less than 237, but with the xbox app, 130GB means you NEED 300GB to safely install the game. And today that is what your xbox app did to my computer, It blue screened the moment xbox app said not enough space, when prior the app itself said there was plenty of space. 130GB>237GB but download and install requires 260GB>237GB Thus you guys app F$%%KED up my computer. Seriously, you guys need to do better. You have left me depressed about my computer, and I hope none of you experience this type of demoralization in life.

Hey wondering if you can help - i am trying to install Forza and get this error code : Code: 0x80070070

says drive has no space but everything should download to my new drive which is 4TB and has loads of space. Any ideas?

I have reinstalled the xbox game pass app.

It is still showing Forza Horizon 5 as uninstalled.

When attempting to install, it shows 110gb of storage space free (I know that this should be closer to 220-230gb)- suggesting that the failed install from last night is still hogging drive space.

If I try to install Forza Horizon 5 again, it lingers on "preparing install" before failing without any error messages

It seems like there is some corrupt data somewhere that I need to clear both to free up space and allow me to reinstall the game.
