i am streaming on twitch and cannot hear my friends through my stream

-Did you change anything before the issue?
-Are you getting any error message?

Basing on the statement you provided above, here are some troubleshooting steps that you may try:

1. Open the Xbox Game Bar by pressing the Windows key + G.

2. Click on the gear icon to open the settings.

3. Click on the Audio tab.

4. Under the "Party chat output" section, select "Headset."

5. Under the "Microphone" section, select the microphone you want to use for your stream.

6. Make sure the "Include microphone audio in recordings" option is turned on.

7. Click on the "Apply" button to save the changes.



Once you have made these changes, your friends' voices should be included in your stream.

For my part I stream my Xbox on my PC and then I capture the window of the console in Xsplit.

For chatting I create the group of friends via the Xbox PC app before launching the stream of the console on the PC and so we hear the sound of the group of friends in Xsplit at the same time as the game because the software captures what I hear in my headphones.

Then I go back to my console to play.

In short I play on my Xbox but I stream my game on my PC and am in a group of friends on the PC, which stream via Xsplit all on Twitch.

It did not work. I plugged my headset into my pc and then started the remote stream and I couldn't hear anything at all. Its weird cause all I am trying to do is mirror my tv screen to my pc screen so I can stream it to twitch. I can still hear the audio of the game and people can still hear me talk, I just cannot hear them....which sucks

he is on pc and my audio goes through on his stream fine but his will not go through to my stream and on pc he does not have the option to include his audio. and he uses stream labs for his stream but i stream straight from twitch.
