    I am receiving an error message when I try to launch that says my graphics card doesn't...


    I have a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 and from what I have seen online, that should be enough to run Starfield. I'm not the most tech savvy but I tried to reinstall the game and I updated my drivers and windows 10 but I am still getting the same error message. After looking online, it seems this is a known error but could be remedied by the steps I took but I haven't had any luck.

    Hello Joe! I'm Kris and I'd be happy to help you with your question.

    Are you on Windows 10? If so are you on 22H2? If not, can you update to that version as that has helped some.

    You graphics card is above the minimum so should work.

    I could be completely wrong here but I wouldn't be surprised if it's because your computer doesn't have the graphics power to handle it...the C22 models that I can find don't have discrete graphics cards but only integrated ones. Sometimes games simply refuse to launch when the system is under-powered

    Please answer the following questions to assist you properly :
    Is this happening on Windows 10 or 11?
    What are your hardware specs? (Processor model, graphics card model, RAM)
    Whats the specific error window / message that you're receiving when you try to run the game? Or you don't receive a message?

    I've tried testing other games, and my results were: ticket to ride: worked. undertale: worked. deadcells: did not work and returned the same error message. but it can't be my graphics card anyways (I have RTX 2070 super) because the xbox (beta) app returns
    the same error message and the game cant even start, it never gets to launch so there's no way it's my graphics card.
