Discus and support I am receiving an error code 0x80070057 at launch of the Xbox app in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; The problem that I have is with the Xbox App. I am receiving an error code 0x80070057 at launch of the app. I have spent days trying every fix It....     I am receiving an error code 0x80070057 at launch of the Xbox app


    The problem that I have is with the Xbox App. I am receiving an error code 0x80070057 at launch of the app. I have spent days trying every fix It. Trouble shooting includes reinstalling and repairing the app, repairing and reinstalling the store app even using command prompt.

    Get-AppXPackage WindowsStore -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    I was logged in on a Local account, so I then Logged in with me Microsoft account, Ran Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image, ScanHealth , sfc /scannow, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    And finally made sure all my country settings where right. Can anyone give a direction of what to try next?

    XBOX App on PC cannot sign into Xbox Live 0x80070057

    Hello,

    I downloaded the gaming services repair tool and ran it, a few times even, but still whenever I open the Xbox App it gets stuck on "Xbox App is being launched" then opens a seperate window showing the Error: "Couldnt sign into Xbox Live" with the Error Code (0x80070057)

    Just a warning, I have found if you try and verify the file integrity and repair it crashes in the download menu and you to uninstall the game and reinstall it. It gives error; 0x87e0000f or 0x80070057(?) no pc file for the errors.

    It also appears the game runs for only 5 milliseconds based on app history data, so I am guessing the game only runs for a single tick on the cpu before closing meaning a early launch code bug (just guessing)

    • Are you only getting this error code on Forza Horizon 3?
    • On which device are you playing the game?
    • What exactly were you doing on the game when you receive the code?
    • Are logged in to your account online?
