    I am on minecraft on my phone and when i try to join my friends it wont let me and says unable to connect. When they try to join me jt says the same.

    The servers might be down or you might have an issue with connecting. Give it a go in a few hours or so and see what happens.

    It might be firewall settings. I've come across this when there's some issues with the network. See if you have any other friends who play and try to join their world to see if the issue pops up.
