I am noticing a large amount of unsuccessful log in attempts on my account

An unsuccessful sign-in means your account remains secure, and there isn't a need to worry. Changing your password is good practice, but I also recommend setting up Microsoft Authenticator for your account.

Yes, I am still able to log in to the account on my authentication app but I am unable to do anything else because its locked.

Is there anyway to get my account back as I spend large amount on the account and it seems like it was mistaken to be hacked.

Multiple attempts daily for hackers to log in but security was updated to include two step verification when gamertag name and games and subscription lost so log in unsuccessful. I am Able to log in but it’s to the new account that was made using my email with new gamer tag etc.

If the account is still linked to my email is there a reason it cannot be recovered. I’d purchase a $100 game the day before……. Very frustrating!

I'd check the sign-in activity on your account to make sure someone isn't trying to sign in with wrong credentials as I believe a certain number of unsuccessful attempts results in an account lock.

Go to you Microsoft account (click your avatar top right of the screen then select "My Microsoft account")...from there, click on "Security" and there should be a "See your sign-in activity" option.. Click that and it will list every successful and unsuccessful sign-in attempt

I can see loads of unsuccessful sign attempt, some are uk but most are unavailable location, also there no purchase history on the epic games account, I have contacted epic games and asked them for any information regarding the use of v bucks on the account,
am awaiting a response.
