I am not able to get proper download speed in the xbox app and microsoft store

I have done some checking today, downloading things from the Xbox App and MS Store on a network connection that has a maximum of 78MB/s:

MS Store: Download speeds, once they get going, maintain a speed of between 55 and 65MB/s. 80-90% of my maximum speed is acceptable

Xbox App: Download Speeds maintain a speed of between 5-8MB/s.

The XBox App I tried about an hour after trying on the MS Store today so no major difference. Given how buggy and poor the Xbox App is, am not surprised.

Of course, this doesn't help with your slow speeds via the MS Store!

These people saying that the Microsoft store increases you're speed are mistaken.

Stright smoke and mirrors. If you do not know the difference between MB/s and MB/s, here you go.

Plainly put. I get around 7 MB/s on the Xbox App and 60 Mb/s on the Microsoft story. They are the same speed.

Why hasn't a Rep commented on this post? It is an issue that is all over Reddit and there is no shortage of posts when you search up this issue.

We need some answers. I also am running on a gig up gig down and all other launcher platforms are greatly superior in speed compared to Microsoft store/app.

I am having the same problem, I have not been able to install any games for a month. It seems to be linked to when I start to have horribly slow download speeds from the Microsoft store. Everything else is downloading fast but from the MS store I am only
getting maybe 5 M/s

But if these are all part of the pc game library the platform is just pc right?

I would be fine just using the xbox app but the download speed is just a joke. my internet speed is much faster than 7mbps. I've tried delivery optimisation and repairing the app... nothing works to improve the DL speed on the xbox app.

Again if I can just resume the download using the microsoft store this would also be a great option but it doesn't for some games.

Sea of Thieves on the microsoft store only has install on the xbox app option but it appears in the downloads on the microsoft store and from there I can pause the download in the app and then resume it in the store. But with Total War: Warhammer III, it doesn't even show up in downloads, it's on the store and gives the same message to install on the app but then I can't see it on my library in the store (even though it's listed on the store xD)

Not able to install Forza Horizon 5 from the xbox app or microsoft store, the download speed is just too low even though my internet connection is working fine with a stable download and upload speed of 100mbps.

Please help!!
