    The video game servers are pretty overloaded. It is not your Xbox. This is happening on every game system. The servers don't usually get this much traffic. They are probably adding more servers to keep up as fast as they can.

    Game servers are getting slammed atm. You can scan the forums for posts where people are having the same or similar problems to you. The only way to fix it would be to come up with either an antibody test or a vaccine to Covid-19. Other than that, patience
    is the only solution ;)

    Why is the lag getting worse in this game?

    It's gotten a lot worse since Update 8. I constantly only have one bar and the lag is terrible. Granted, I only have a 6MB DSL line, but usually when I am playing, nothing else is streaming or downloading.
