I am having trouble making in-game purchases

I suggest that you try to purchase it from the Microsoft Store website.

Make sure that your account doesn't have any issue with your subscription or services through https://account.microsoft.com/services that could be the cause of the issue.

May I exactly know what steps have you already tried so far so we don't have to repeat them anymore?

And to confirm, the issue only happens to Microsoft Store or Xbox app? How about purchasing through the Microsoft Store website?

No problems with subscription or services. The games are, "Clockmaker match 3 puzzle game" and all "Artifex Mundi hidden object games" up until 3 days ago I could purchase without a problem. I have just disabled windows hello to see if that made a difference and I am still having the same problem. I have done all the problem solving suggested by microsoft and making contact was the only option I had left, I'd love to get it fixed, many thanks Cathy, windows 11 PC. oh p.s I was able to log into another PC and made a purchase with the "Clockmaker match 3 puzzle game" without an issue, but that does not solve the problem on the PC I use daily.
